Nexchamps is a SaaS (Software as a Service) educational platform for learning and practicing Abacus and Mathematics, designed for students aged 6-14 years. Our platform serves educational institutions, freelance teachers, and individual educators through a flexible subscription model.
Students can access Nexchamps through their coaching institute, school, or teacher. The platform offers various learning modules including Abacus training, Mathematics practice, Live Quiz sessions, self-practice exercises, and worksheet generation. Every student can track their performance, understand areas of improvement, and participate in team-based activities with their classmates. Our platform personalizes content based on the student's age and skill level for an optimal learning experience.
Organizational administrators (org_admins) manage their institutions on Nexchamps. They can onboard teachers, create student accounts, manage subscriptions, and oversee their organization's use of the platform.
Teachers can use Nexchamps to conduct engaging math practice sessions, assign homework, track student progress, and generate detailed performance reports. Teachers may be part of an institution or operate as freelance educators with their own subscriptions. Freelance teachers can also onboard additional teachers under their account.
Parents can create accounts to monitor their child's learning progress and access performance reports. Parents receive detailed information about their child's effort, activity, progress, challenges, and achievements on the platform.
This Privacy Policy explains:
We provide this information so that you may decide whether to use Nexchamps. We are committed to following the rules laid out in this document. By creating an account or subscribing to our services, you accept these principles of how we collect and process your personal data. If you are unhappy with any part of this Privacy Policy, unfortunately you cannot use Nexchamps.
Personal data or personal information is any information relating to you that can identify you, directly or indirectly. Our platform is accessed through accounts at various organizational levels. Having an account helps track progress, personalize learning experiences, save settings, and enable performance comparisons. If you are a parent, teacher, or organizational administrator, an account is necessary to manage and monitor student progress. Collecting some personal data is therefore necessary for people to use Nexchamps as intended.
Nexchamps operates as a SaaS platform where:
Individual students and parents do not make direct payments to Nexchamps—subscriptions are managed by organizations or teachers.
We follow that all data collection and processing must be fair and lawful. This means you have a right to understand how your data is collected and used, and there is a legal basis for the collection of your data. We only collect data that is necessary for either you or our platform. Even when collecting your data is necessary for our platform, we will not collect it if it infringes your interest in privacy.
Since we collect and process personal data, we have an obligation to keep that data private and secure. We use all necessary legal mechanisms, up-to-date technology, and best practices of data protection to ensure that your data is kept safe after its collection.
Since our company is based in India and serves both Indian and international users, we have taken all necessary steps to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) 2023. We follow principles consistent with international data protection standards and are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, including children.
There are four different types of accounts on Nexchamps:
For more information about what each of these accounts can do, please refer to our Terms of Use.
We emphasize that our Privacy Policy applies equally to all account types. Recognizing that our average user is a child whose data requires enhanced protection, we have created this Privacy Policy with that knowledge at its foundation. However, we treat data from all account types with the same level of care. We do collect different types of data depending on your account type.
We only collect the minimum amount of personal data needed. To create an account, we ask for:
Your name is used to create a unique username for you. This username and your password are your login credentials, which remain confidential. We ask for your age or grade level to provide age-appropriate content that matches your skill level. This grade represents an approximation of your mathematical ability, not necessarily your current school grade. It also enables you to see how you compare with other students in your age group within team activities.
The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest to provide access to our platform. Login data is necessary to create permanent and secure accounts. An important aspect of Nexchamps is enabling students to engage in team-based learning activities and track their progress over time. We also provide a service to teachers and institutions who use Nexchamps as an educational tool.
Student accounts are typically created by teachers or organizational administrators. In such cases, we only require a username and basic information.
In addition to the data mentioned above, our platform also collects some data automatically from all users (see Section 4 for automatically collected data). We do not request or allow you to provide any other personal data during your use of Nexchamps. Our platform does not have features that enable you to share additional personal information.
We ask for the following personal data when you sign up:
This data is needed to provide you with secure login information and for identification purposes. We may use your email address to send you important information about our platform and services (such as updates to features, Privacy Policy, or Terms of Use) and your child's progress (if you choose to receive this information). Your email address can also be used as an additional login option if you forget your password.
The legal basis for processing this data is your consent and our legitimate interest to provide a secure way to use the platform and communicate with users when necessary for their interests.
In addition to the data mentioned above, our platform also collects some data automatically from all users (see Section 4 for automatically collected data).

For institutional teachers: Information about your organization is necessary to link your account with your institution's subscription and organizational administrator.
For freelance teachers: Your subscription and billing information is managed directly by you. If you onboard additional teachers under your account, you act as the subscription manager for those teachers.

In addition to the data mentioned above, our platform also collects some data automatically from all users (see Section 4 for automatically collected data).
We ask for the following personal data when you sign up:
This data is needed to:
Your email address may be used to send billing information, service updates, and important notifications about your organization's subscription. We may also use your contact information for customer support purposes.
Organizational administrators have elevated privileges:
The legal basis for processing this data is performance of a contract (your subscription agreement) and our legitimate interest in providing secure platform access and managing business relationships.
In addition to the data mentioned above, our platform also collects some data automatically from all users (see Section 4 for automatically collected data).
We collect data related to your performance and activity on the platform (Learning Data). This includes your progress, completed modules, practice sessions, quiz performance, worksheet activities, mistakes made during practice, time spent on various activities, and skill assessments. This data is shown to you in an aggregated form as progress reports, performance metrics, and achievement indicators.
The purpose of collecting, saving, and aggregating Learning Data is to provide users an optimal experience. When we know your skill level, we can recommend content that matches your abilities—neither too easy nor too difficult. This helps improve our educational algorithms and learning pathways. Saving and displaying Learning Data incentivizes students to progress, which ultimately improves their mathematical abilities.
Data Access Hierarchy:
Student accounts are linked with teacher accounts when:
Student accounts are linked with parent accounts when the parent registers and verifies their relationship to the student.
While Nexchamps is not primarily an assessment tool, we have created these features so teachers and parents can identify what the student knows well and where additional support is needed.
Nexchamps may also collect your personal data automatically from your computer or mobile device when you use our platform. This automatically collected data includes:
Cookies are small bits of information stored on your device. You may use your internet browser's or mobile app's settings to control whether you accept cookies and which types of cookies. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use Nexchamps or some of its features. Nexchamps uses cookies to temporarily store data including your email address, username, settings, and preferences.
We automatically collect your personal data for the internal operations of this platform. This involves activities necessary for maintenance and functioning of the platform, saving your data, authenticating users, protecting our platform and keeping users secure, ensuring legal compliance, and other internal uses. We also use this data to analyze how users interact with Nexchamps to improve user experience, and to understand how people discover Nexchamps to improve our marketing strategies. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing safety for our platform and users, improving and optimizing user experience, and maintaining and growing our user base.
We may share your personal data with our service providers who we have contracted to perform certain functions or services on our behalf, such as hosting the platform, creating and managing accounts, managing databases, performing analytics and site metrics, logging errors, processing payments, and sending emails. Third-party service providers may also use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and other technologies to collect data in the form of persistent identifiers such as your device number and online activity—for example, the pages you viewed, links you clicked, and time spent on our platform.
Our current third-party service providers include:
Nexchamps's team reviews any third party's privacy policy before contracting them to ensure they comply with the same regulations we follow and that they will keep your data safe and secure. We share data with and allow it to be used by third parties only when and to the extent it is necessary for the specific task that the third party was contracted to perform.
As our platform grows and changes, we may contract additional service providers in the future. This list is updated periodically. For the most current list of third-party service providers and links to their privacy policies, please contact us at deep.sharma@intudo.in.
Other than service providers, we will share your personal data only if there is a legal requirement or if there is a warranted exception in applicable law.
It is important to specify how we do NOT use your personal data:
We will not publish or provide public access to your data such as your username, login information, or email address.
Data visibility within Nexchamps:
Since Nexchamps is a multi-tenant SaaS platform, strict data isolation ensures that:
We may share aggregated and non-personally identifiable Learning Data with the general public outside of the Nexchamps platform, for example, statistics in marketing materials about user distribution by region or popular learning modules.
Additional Learning Data is only shown to teacher, org_admin, or parent accounts if they have appropriate permissions as described in Section 3.7.
We undertake to keep your personal data safe and secure, and to avoid unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, or alteration of your personal data. We use all appropriate and reasonable security measures to achieve this, including:
We also use the following technical precautions:
Password Protection: Creating a secure password is key to protecting your account because it prevents unauthorized access. We never store passwords as plain text. We always salt and encrypt passwords before storing them in our database. We recommend choosing a password that is hard to guess, not too common, but easy to remember.
Database Protection: Our database servers use different servers from our application servers and are accessible only to specific IP addresses. Any IP address not listed in our whitelist cannot access the database. All databases are password protected. Additionally, we implement row-level security to ensure multi-tenant data isolation.
SSL Encryption: Any data transferred through our application is protected by encryption with the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. SSL protocol makes it difficult for unauthorized parties to access your data during transmission.
We periodically review our data collection and processing practices against software industry standards. We strive to keep our practices current in the face of technological advancements that malicious actors could exploit to access data.
Please keep in mind that transmitting and storing data digitally cannot be 100 percent secure. While we do our best, we cannot guarantee that nothing adverse will ever happen. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure of personal data to the fullest extent permitted by law.
For users outside India: Nexchamps is operated by Intudo Consulting, based in India. Your personal data is stored on our servers located in India. All data remains within India and is not transferred to servers outside the country.
When working with service providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure that your rights continue to be protected, including through contractual agreements that require compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
Account-specific rights:
If you are a parent of a child who uses Nexchamps and is under the age of 13, you may review your child's personal data, request its deletion, and refuse to permit further collection or use of your child's information. You may do so by contacting us at deep.sharma@intudo.in. Please keep in mind that this will terminate your child's use of Nexchamps. Since Nexchamps may be used by your child's teacher or institute as part of their curriculum, please contact the institute or teacher to resolve any related concerns.
If you are an organizational administrator, you can manage data for all users within your organization, including requesting bulk data exports or deletions. However, you must comply with applicable laws regarding student data and obtain necessary consents.
If you are a freelance teacher, you can manage data for students you directly teach and teachers you have onboarded. You cannot access or modify data for students taught by teachers under your account unless you directly teach those students.
If you are a teacher within an organization, your data management rights may be subject to your organization's policies and your organizational administrator's authority.
We may collect and process your data for purposes not named in this Privacy Policy or without your consent only if there is a specific and clear exception in applicable data protection laws. This happens, for example, when we need to comply with a legal obligation, when necessary to protect the safety of a child, take precautions against liability, or protect the security of our platform.
We will store your personal data as long as your account remains active or your subscription is valid. We will usually delete all stored data if your account is deleted due to your breach of contract or upon your request. However, if you or your organization has entered into a subscription agreement with us, we may retain certain data as long as we have a legal obligation to do so (for example, an obligation to preserve accounting documents for seven years) or until it can be used to defend our legitimate interests (such as evidence in case of a legal dispute).
As laws change and our platform evolves, we may need to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Minor changes will be reflected on this page—please see the top of this document for the date of last update. We will notify users about larger material changes to the Privacy Policy directly by email or through user accounts.
If you do not agree with the updates, you may terminate your account before the updates take effect. Continuing to use Nexchamps after our Privacy Policy has been changed means that you agree with those changes.
The controller and processor of your personal data is Intudo Consulting. If you want further information about how we process your personal data or wish to exercise any of your rights described above, you may contact us at the address below.
If you wish to make a formal complaint about the way Nexchamps has processed your personal data, you may contact the data protection authorities of the country where you are resident. For users in India, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.
